Catching Up

Well needless to say, life has been a little hectic the last 2 months. So i have some blogging catch up to do. Hudson is getting so big and so much fun now. He's smiling and 'talking' which we all get a kick out of. He and Presley already have a love for each other that i didnt expect this early. Hopefully I can get some more pics up here, I have about 500 on each camera since he's been born, I still need to load them onto the computer!!

Here is a couple of pics of our Haunted Halloween house. P had so much fun decorating it. She is very meticulous, just like her daddy.

Soccer

We signed P up for soccer this fall, unfortunately she got sick and only made it to two sessions. She had fun, got a little nervous when all the kids got to the ball and just started kicking. Poor thing got kicked in the shins - next year we will invest in shin guards! She's actually quite coordinated and I think she will do well if she continues to like it!

The Sandlot

We had a pretty warm August, so one saturday while daddy was golfing, we decided to head across the street to the "sandbox" and play. I wish so bad we had a beach close to us!!

Zoo

We decided to take one last trip up to the zoo before I get gigantic. Had a lot of fun. Check out the cute as hell baby giraffe!!

Discovery Gateway

In July we went up to Discovery Gateway museum, P loved it! She keeps saying that she wants to go to the fun museum again.

First Day of Preschool!

Today was Presley's first day of Preschool!! She did so good - didnt even cry! I was SO nervous & stressing out it was going to be a bad morning, and I was the only one who ended up crying! I didnt have the guts to leave the parking lot though, so I just sat in the car & read my book, good thing it was a nice overcast & cool morning. She had lots to tell me when she was done, and has told me she loves me about 45 times since we've been home.

C-Section is scheduled!!

Oct 22nd, 7:15am. Yeah baby. 12 weeks to go. I'm so excited, pretty nervous, and a little scared!! Last night I had a panic attack because I couldnt breathe, i feel SO big and feel like my stomach cant stretch any further, and i have 3 months to go! Luckily brad was home and I was able to get in the tub and try an float...lol. it did help. My placenta is still low, it didnt move at all, so it's a good thing that I already planned on a c-section because I would be getting one anyway. I've tried having as much 'fun' as possible this last month with Miss P. She starts pre-school in 3 weeks, which i'm excited and nervous about. Here are some pics of the last month.

NO MORE BED REST

Well I saw a 3rd Dr. yesterday and he said that he felt comfortable enough that i didnt need to be on bedrest....YAHOO! Just to take it easy & if i get contractions to relax & not over-do it. Makes me SO happy!!

Dreaded words : Bed Rest

Yep, i'm on "modified bedrest"..again. I had it with presley due to 'irritable uterus' which is basically irregular contractions. They are actually different than Braxton Hicks - these could put me into labor. And since I am only just hitting 24 weeks, im much to early to even think about having a preemie. So, no more grocery store, no more walking around, no more really much of anything. Which really bums & stresses me out, but, i want him to be healthy & not early, and def not wind up in the hospital on bed rest. The good thought is i made it 3 days PAST my due date with P, so hopefully the bedrest will get me to my due date with this little guy. So whoever wants to come & hang out at my boring house...please do!! :)

4th of July

We had a really fun 4th of July. We went to the parade in the morning. It started to rain when we were walking to where we said we'd meet everyone (sorry guys!!) and we ducked under a tree and just decided to stay. Presley LOVED that there was a Madaline balloon, she loves watching her movies. Then we came home for a bit and then headed up to my dads. Presley had tons of fun playing with her new cousin who is about a year younger than her. We had lots of good food & the weather was perfect. Then we headed to downtown Sandy for the fireworks...they put a really good firework show on! We had lightropes and pom poms..it was really fun. Presley took turns laying inbetween us and Grandpa to watch the fireworks..it was pretty cute.

Jumpin Jacks

So we decided to try Jumpin Jacks a few weeks ago since its so close to the house, and Presley had a blast. She went down the biggest slide first - which suprised me!! She did end up getting hurt on one of the slides, but she still went down and had lots of fun. After telling Brad about it he wanted to go too, so we went again this last weekend....and i had my camera with me this time.

Mountain Picnic

We have been dying to get up on the mountain & have a picnic so yesterday we did it. It was a short little trip, but was so much fun (except for the part where the little boy, probably only a year old, in the camp spot next to us fell into the fire & burned his hand & his skin fell off his hand. I hope he is ok. ) Hot dogs & marshmallows are so yummy over a fire. Presley had fun sticking the marshmallows on any thing she could find and them watching them burst. There were a ton of chipmunks running around that she had fun chasing and poking their holes with sticks. Next time we go we are staying overnight - should be fun!!! This first pic is one that presley took on the drive back. I handed her my camera (not THE camera, i got a smaller one) and she was snapping away. She did pretty good!!
