YAY!!!
What was the 2nd most scariest day of my life on Friday, has now turned out to be one of the best. We brought p into the allergist to do a food challenge since her skin & bloodwork came back low/negative. I nearly had a corinary. After about 5 min she started what I thought was choking, so I ran to a nurse frantically, told them she needed help...the dr came, listened to her breathing...she was fine. We stayed about an hour, and nothing happend. NOTHING. I seriously can't believe it. 2 years of being paranoid, scared, mother hen, all gone. I went grocery shopping & bought goldfish, cheese-its, mickey mouse shape cheese, nilla wafers, spagettios...it was so much fun!!! I can take her to McD playground (yes i like to look for germs).
Now if I could just convince her that it tastes good. She wouldnt eat any of it. Guess I have drilled in her that it will make her sick, and she remembers. Poor kid. Oh well, we still have to take it slow, so I guess its a good thing she's not interested.

Polar Express

We trekked up to good 'ole Heber on Brads bday for the Polar Express. We had a good time despite the oven we sat in for about an hour and a half. It was so damn hot in that train, Presley literally undressed herself. She was rubbing the sweat off the window & licking it. She was thrilled to see Santa athough she shy'd (is that even a word??) up when he asked her what she wanted for christmas. She almost hyperventilated. She loved the bell. She loved the train conductor punching her ticket. We watched the movie on the way up. We watched the movie on the way back. I am still singing "hot, hot, hot chocolate!!" in my head.

Hello Luvahhh.........

Well, I can safely say he has gotten over his 'homesick' issues. This damn dog...is hilarious! He seriously flys out the doggie door, bolts to the gate, runs in circles, snakes a piece of bark, and flys back into the house & skids across the linoleum. He barks at himself relentlesley at his reflection in the bookcase glass. He chews, and chews, and chews .... on everything he's not supposed to.
He also has a 'friend' in the picture above. All we need is some Barry White and candles.......

i.am.BUGGED

Seriously. People. If your kids are sick...LEAVE THEM HOME!!! Yes, this means you will also have to stay home. Sucks for you.
P is getting sick, yet AGAIN. What was it? 3 weeks ago? that she was just sick with a double ear infection AND croup? WTF.
Could it be from the gym where the little kid literally sneezed on her face last week? (yes, i immediately doused her face with purell.) or could it be from the virus infested warehouse we all hate to admit going to called Wal-Mart? I dont know, but wherever it is coming from, it seriously needs to stop.
GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meet *Pepper*
Here is our little addition to our family. Presley named him Pepper, and will not take any suggestions on any other names. So Pepper it is. He's been quite the job for me, apparantly he's pretty nervous about his new home & isn't eating & is having some stomach 'issues' that I will spare the details on. He's a cute little guy, and is abt 2lbs right now. I'm just hoping he starts eating sooner than later! I dont know how much more I can take!!

Guess What?

She can write her name!! How freakin cute right? So her P looks like a tree, and her L is upside down, but hey, she has the correct amount of letters, and the right ones!! She was in the tub on Sunday & both Brad & I had the deer-in-the-headlights-face when she did it. I havent really been pushing her on it, we just write her name when we do art projects etc. Way to go P!!!
This one is her "family picture".
The circles on our heads is our hair. ;)
And this one is her spider.

Halloween!!!

She had fun trick or treating. I wasnt really sure what she'd do with the costume, but she was happy to put it on. She said "twick or tweeet" and "happy hawoweeen" to everyone. We did a few streets at our neighborhood (she looves the 'bones guy' a few streets down, and had to give him high five) and then we went with my sisters in-laws neighborhood. P had a lot of fun with cousins D & H. She was pretty excited and said "Look! Treats!!"...but then she wouldnt touch any of the candy. Posted by [Lindsay} at 9:34 PM 1 comments

Funny Presley
The other night I put on a T-Shirt for bed (sexy I know..) and Presley says "Mom, what shirt is that? Is that your baseball shirt?"
She saw our neighbor outside who was wearing a green hoodie & a lanyard on her neck. 'Hey, are you a doctor?"
Stalling for the 87th time before bed "Hey mom, I have a plan....."
Out of nowhere "mom, my belly hurts. I need a green apple."
"I want some wobbly fries" {arby's curly fries}
'reading' my grocery shopping list:
presley: "and down, and over and yes, and circle, and......"
me: "what does that paper say?"
presley: "its a treasure map. To daddys work."

Best Ever Meatloaf
This recipe is supposedly Outback Steakhouses - whosever it is, it is YUMMY!!
1 lb ground beef
oregano
basil
1 slice of bread
garlic salt or garlic powder
small amount of ketchup
small amount of flour
nutmeg
salt and pepper
1 egg
chopped onion
parmesean cheese
*I just eyeball the amounts to what I like & I only put a tiny bit of nutmeg b/c it can be overpowering.
Mix all ingredients together and place in loaf pan. Bake for 30 min @ 350 or until no longer pink .

Good News!!
We had her annual allergist appointment today. They do a skin prick on her back & see how big the hive/wheel is - which totally sucks. The first two years we had it done, the hive immediately was big (a +4, which is the biggest on their measuring standard). Well, today, nothing. Not a hive. The only hive she did get was the histamine control, which she is supposed to get one. Soooo, now we are going to bring her for her RAST test(blood draw) to make sure that also comes back negative. If it does, then we do a food challenge and give her milk. Talk about scary. I will only do it in the Dr's office or the ER, and even doing that is going to be hard for me. Anyway, it's good news, and we are hoping it is true good news!!!!
