Photo shoot Preview

So I had to do a quick photo shoot for her birthday pictures, becasue I specifically bought this dress for pictures - and its supposed to snow this weekend!! So since it was probably our last day of 72 degrees, I had to jump on it. She was a major pain, but I got some pretty cute ones, I just need time to edit them. This one is straight from the camera. I just love the emotion you get from this shot. One of my favorites.

On Her Day

Since we didnt have a party because she was sick, we had to give her something on her actual birthday. In the morning we gave her a little pet shop she's been asking for which she hugged, at lunch B came home & we gave her the trike, which, she hugged. Then just me & her went to Kung Fu Panda and then we stopped for French Fries (her all time fav-healthy, i know) . I'd say she had a good day even if she was coughing up a storm & couldnt breathe!! Happy Birthday Love!!!

Fall Foliage in the Beehive State

So this doesnt hold a candle to the East Coast fall - but it's still pretty. P got sick this weekend, and by Sunday we were all a little stir crazy. So we thought we'd try a drive up Provo canyon. We didnt go very far, just up to squaw peak. Its funny, I never noticed the fall colors in Ut before. Guess it takes leaving somewhere to realize what is actually there!!

Baked Potato Casserole {aka: YUM}

6 medium potatoes, baked (i boiled mine) then cut into bite size chunks w/skins
1/2 package bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 lb sour cream
3 cups shredded mozzarella
3 cups shredded cheddar

Spray baking pan with Pam.
Place potatoes in bottom, layer bacon, sour cream, cheeses. Bake at 350 until cheese is melted.


So easy and seriously so good.

Why I love her....

i'm not exactly sure why she does this, but i find these little scenarios all the time. someone is down, and all the friends are surrounding him.
