She has a fascination, err, obsession, with figurines. And, lately she has been saying either "Come check it out Mom" or "Look at that Mom!". The other day, I had to "check this out".

Country inns and cobblestone streets
Crunching leaves beneath my feet
Warm apple cider in the fall
Chipmunks on an old stone wall

Making angels in the snow
The smell of forest evergreens
Maple syrup and home baked beans
Clam "chowda" at a lobster bake
Excited children at the first snow flake
Country roads and a robin's call
I love these things but most of all
